I believe in building in public — sharing the journey, the wins, the stumbles, and the lessons learned along the way. This page is a living document and a behind-the-scenes look at everything I am actively working on, both personally and professionally. My goal is not just to showcase finished products, but to give you a real-time window into the “why” and the “how” behind each project.
Whether you are a fellow builder, a curious reader, or someone looking to connect, I hope this page sparks a conversation. If something resonates with you, subscribe to my newsletter below — I share updates, lessons, and behind-the-scenes progress regularly.

ArticleAI — AI-Powered SEO Blog Generator
Status: 🟢 Live & Active | URL: articleai.davidtries.com
ArticleAI is a terminal-aesthetic, AI-powered SEO blog article generator I built from scratch. You enter a domain name, the system scrapes and analyzes the website, and the AI generates 12 SEO-optimized article title suggestions with estimated monthly search traffic. Select a title, and the system writes a full 1,200–1,800 word article, generates 4 relevant images, and can publish directly to a connected WordPress site.
The product is designed as a SaaS tool with a freemium model — guests and free users get 3 article generations per month, with paid plans unlocking more capacity. I built this to solve my own content creation bottleneck and to explore what a truly end-to-end AI writing workflow could look like.
- Tech Stack: React 19, Node.js/Express, TypeScript, tRPC, MySQL/TiDB, Stripe
- Key Features: Domain analysis, AI article generation, image generation, WordPress publishing integration
- Current Focus: Improving article quality, expanding subscription tiers, and adding bulk generation support

Federal Career Architect — AI Federal Resume Builder
Status: 🟡 Active Development
Federal hiring is a different game. Candidates get screened out — not because they are unqualified, but because their resumes fail to use the precise language that HR Specialists are required to match against job announcement criteria. Professional federal resume writers charge $500–$2,000 per resume. Federal Career Architect automates this process in minutes.
The application guides job seekers through a three-step AI-driven consulting workflow: it analyzes the USAJobs posting to extract the “Hiring Manager’s Wishlist,” conducts a structured gap interview (one question at a time) to extract missing evidence from the candidate, and then generates a fully populated OPM-compliant two-page resume using the exact terminology that HR Specialists and ATS systems expect to see.
- Tech Stack: React 19, Node.js/Express, TypeScript, tRPC, MySQL/TiDB, S3, Stripe
- Target Users: Federal job seekers, military veterans transitioning to civilian roles, career coaches
- Current Focus: Completing the gap interview engine and fine-tuning the resume generation prompt
